Welcome to one of the most respected ROTC programs in the United States, the University of Colorado ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s Golden Buffalo Battalion!

Our Military Science Department invites you to enroll in our exciting program and be a part of our proud AROTC tradition that dates back to 1918. Our program focuses on attracting top quality Scholar-Athlete-Leaders from here on campus as well as from high schools, partnership, and affiliate colleges throughout the Denver Metro area. The Golden Buffalo BN mission is to develop leaders of character ready to influence others in a complex operating environment through professionalism, dedication, and teamwork while preserving a legacy of excellence and lifelong service to community.

Our Cadets consistently rank as Distinguished Military Graduates in the top 20% in the nation.

 

Our Cadet corps averages 150 to 200 Cadets, which leads to a tight-knit, highly functional group.

 

95% of our seniors get their first branch choice when they commission into the Army.

  • CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ:  Degree Conferral Date (no campus-wide ceremony), Thursday, Dec 19. Commission, Friday, Dec 20, 10 a.m., CASE Auditorium (1725 Euclid Ave, 4th floor, 411).
  • MINES:  Commencement, Friday, Dec 13. Commission, date, time, and location TBD (most likely in the Green Center, Freidhoff Hall).  
  • MSUD:  Commencement, Friday, Dec 13. Commission, date, time, and location TBD (most likely in the AROTC house).
