I feel grateful to teach at CU because I love the mountains and the healthy/ entrepreneurial spirit of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. I am passionate about anthropological field work. Travel is one of my passions. Some of my best recent trips have been to Tanzania—camping in the outback with sounds of lions and hyenas at night; Sicily—eating lots of pasta, olives and cheese in the countryside; Bhutan—meditating in Buddhist temples and trekking in the Himalayas; Turkey—boating on the Bosporus and climbing Mt. Olympus and eating too many Simit (Turkish bagels).
When I am not teaching at CU you will find me hanging out with my sons Charlie and Simon, hiking the trails in Chautauqua and Sanitas with my puppy Pika.
