Responsibilities
Business Consultation
- Strategic partner to the A&S Associate Dean for Student Success and the Student Success portfolio including the Assistant Dean of Academic Advising & Student Success, the Assistant Dean of Academic & Curricular Affairs, the Director of Student Recruitment, the Executive Director of the A&S Residential Academic Programs, and the individual A&S Residential Academic Programs
- Advise, counsel & assist with operations, policies, procedures, rules, statutes and strategic plans
- Influence University policy compliance
- Optimize business processes in an effort to contribute to the University, the College of Arts and Sciences & Student Success missions
Financial Management
- Administration & management of budget functions for the Student Success portfolio
- Review & analyze financial reports to ensure alignment of budget and expenditures
- Provide oversight of future spending demands
- Inform leadership of current and projected financial standing
- Maintain a professional development policy for the Student Success portfolio professional staff
- CAS Budget Office Liaison

Personnel Management
- Guide recruitment and hiring process for professional staff
- Coordinate hiring process for Student Success faculty
- Manage performance management records
- Oversee & lead the Student Success Academic Operations staff
