ATOC will host the Earth System and Space Science (ESSS) Poster conference. It will take place on
Thursday, December 5th, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PMÌýin the
SEEC auditorium (C120) on CU's East Campus. This free conference highlights work by students and early-career researchers in Earth System & Planetary Sciences, Space Physics and Engineering. Participation from other CU departments as well as other Front Range organizations and schools is welcome! Click

If you are interested in presenting, . If you want to attend but not show a poster, we still ask that you register so that we have enough food. If you do present, we only need the poster title; no abstract is required. There will be two sessions to accommodate participants with competing commitments:
- Session 1: 1:00 PM - 2:15 PM
- Session 2: 2:30 PM - 3:45 PM

This is a catered event. Lunch will be served starting at 12:30 PM, followed by the first poster session at 1:00 PM, and be available until the end. We will also have coffee/snacks.

There will be several options for feedback:

1) Enter the poster competition to win a prize ($100, $50, $20) in either the undergraduate or graduate category
2) Receive feedback from an ATOC mentor assigned to you.
3) Both 1) and 2)
4) No feedback

You may opt into options 1, 2 or 3 in the survey. In addition, we offer a pre-event 'office hour' on November 22nd where you can get feedback or advice no matter which option you choose. The deadline for the registration and title submission is November 17.

Location
The CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ SEEC (MacAllister) building is located on the northwest Corner of Colorado Avenue and Foothills Parkway. You can find information on "Getting Here" at . From main campus, the Stampede Bus will drop off on the west (mountain) side of the building. There is guest parking in Lot 550 (pink shading on the map to the left) on the southwest side of the building. Visitors and presenters from ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ research labs and from out of town, please contact Xinyue Wang (xinyuew@colorado.edu) or Sara Sanchez (sara.sanchez@colorado.edu) for a parking pass.
Poster Boards and Setup
The maximum poster size allowed is 48" x 48". Tacks will be provided at the conference to hang up your poster. We encourage all presenters in the first poster session to hang up their posters before the start of the first session by 12:00 PM.
Refreshments
A variety of boxed lunches will be provided during the poster sessions. These boxed lunches must be consumed outside of the poster hall in either the SEEC cafeteria or outside (weather permitting).Ìý
