Us

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Faculty Assembly is the representative body of the faculty in the shared governance of the CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus. A guiding principle of that shared governance, recognized by the Board of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, is that the faculty and the administration shall collaborate in major decisions affecting the welfare of the University.  In practice, the BFA has primary responsibility for setting academic policy and is expected to advise the administration on other policies.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Faculty Assemblyhave passed severalresolutions between 2020 and 2023 years that endorsethe inclusion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work in faculty merit evaluations.The first resolution, BFA-R-1-081020, which supported changes to Faculty Report of Professional Activities (FRPA),was passed by the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Faculty Assemblyin September of 2020.
