CAS and the聽Asian Art Department of the DAM co-hosted聽a reception at the Denver Art Museum this past Saturday evening in honor of the 20th anniversary of the founding of CAS at the CU 葫芦娃视频 campus, and also because for the first time, the Association for Asian Studies held their annual conference in Denver. There was a large showing of CU 葫芦娃视频 faculty presenting research at the conference, which provided a great opportunity to host the event. Tim Oakes, the Director at the Center for Asian Studies, gave remarks to the crowd.聽Tianlong Jiao, the Curator of Asian Art, also made welcoming remarks.
