In our ongoing commitment to upholding the high-quality, productive conference that JASC has become so well known for, the American Executive Committee has decided to host a third application window for JASC 74! The application opens on March 21st, 5pm EDT and will close on April 14th, 11:59pm EDT. We intend for this to be our final application window, so please encourage your students to apply! Applications are accepted on a 聽rolling basis.
Under the conference theme of "Fortify: Constructive Exchange to Undertake Challenges," students representing the U.S. and Japan will travel to New York City, Washington D.C., and San Francisco, CA from August 3 to August 26, 2022.
Over the course of this academically intensive and culturally immersive program, students will conduct original peer-reviewed research and participate in cultural field trips, all while growing in their understanding of contemporary U.S.-Japan relations and their international counterparts.
Please encourage qualified students to apply for this one-of-a-kind program dedicated to professional growth, learning beyond the classroom, and building lifelong friendships across the Pacific. All academic majors are welcome to apply, and no Japanese language proficiency is required.
