We are pleased to announce the following opportunities for study and scholarships at the East-West Center (EWC) starting in August 2023. For more than sixty years, East-West Center students have developed lifelong relationships and a powerful sense of community with others who share a commitment to the US-Indo-Pacific region. This fall semester, we welcomed 105 people from around the world, who are part of a diverse and dynamic community of 300 graduate students from 40+ countries, Hawai‘i, and all across the United States to participate in the East-West Center's residential and extra-curricular programs while pursuing graduate degrees at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship

Overview: The East-West Center provides funding for graduate students with a commitment to the Asia Pacific region to pursue a graduate degree at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and to participate in the Center's residential, educational and leadership development programs.
Type of study: Master's or Doctoral degree study (up to 24-month fellowship)
Eligibility: Citizens or permanent residents of the United States and citizens of countries in the Pacific and Asia, including Russia.
Application deadline: December 1
