Call for Abstracts

ճInternational Graduate Student Conference (IGSC) is accepting abstracts fromcurrent graduate students, as well as from young professionals and scholars, who have completed a graduate degree within the past three years. One of the largest student conferences focused on the Asia Pacific region, we are looking for submissions fromall fields of study.This year's theme isOur Unique Planet: Navigating Our Shared Future.

Abstract submissions

All abstract submissions must be made through the secureonline platform. The deadline to submit abstracts is September 30th, 2024, 23:59 hrs (Hawaiʻi Standard Time). Please see the conference websiteforFrequently Asked Questionson abstract guidelines, conference registration, and other logistics. For any other questions not covered in Frequently Asked Questions, please send your inquiry to the IGSC team atigsc@eastwestcenter.org.

IGSC is a student-run initiative of the East-West Center Education Program. The Center's Education Program offers funding for graduate study at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa and provides a dynamic residential experience for graduate students to develop lifelong relationships and a powerful sense of community with others who share an interest in and commitment to the Asia Pacific region. The East-West Center promotes better relations and understanding among the people and nations of the United States, Asia, and the Pacific through cooperative study, research, and dialogue. Established by the U.S. Congress in 1960, the Center serves as a resource for information and analysis on critical issues of common concern, bringing people together to exchange views, build expertise, and develop policy options. The Center is an independent, public, nonprofit organization with funding from the U.S. government, and additional support provided by private agencies, individuals, foundations, corporations, andgovernments in the region.
