Research Interests

My work focuses on cultural and environment in southwest of China and, in particular, the traditional knowledge of local minority culture as a resource for economic development. I have explored this theme in the contexts of sustainable development and Karst fragile ecological zone. I am the project director for traditional knowledge of spice in southwest China,funded by National Office of Philosophy and social sciences.
