Dr. Shideh Dashti is an Associate Professor in the Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering Program at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Her inÌýgeotechnical engineering and geomechanics, focusesÌýon the influence of extreme climatic and seismic events on interacting soil-foundation-structure systems and geotechnical infrastructure. Dr. Dashti's goal is to help train engineers to be more globally-engaged in research and practice, through engaging them in internationally relevant projects and collaborating with experts in other countries and disciplines. SheÌýalso currently serves as the Associate Chair for Administration in the department of Civil, EnvironmentalÌýand Architectural Engineering at the Univeristy of Colorado ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.
