Prior to finding a major that was best tailored to her interests, Amanda majored in biology, which probably helped curate her love for plants. Her favorite plant that she owns is a pink Fittonia Albivenis.

Amanda loves spending time outside with her boys and soaking up the Colorado sunshine. Prior to her current career path, she was a special educaiton preschool teacher.

Paige is learning how to play the bass, and has been making music for two years now. If you see them with headphones on, they're definitely jamming out to some classic rock from the seventies.

One day in college, Julia flew a simple, small kite with the kids she was nannying and instantly fell in love with kites. She upgraded to a parafoil kite, which she now loves to fly while listening to music.

Recently, Heather almost "foster-failed" a sweet puppy! Although she is a dog person, her first 8 pets were rats.

Evi hopes to go into the field of Computational Linguistics with a focus on voice recognition of people with speech disorders. She is also interested in music and plays viola, cello, and random bits of classical pieces on piano.

Katya's first language is Russian. She also speaks English and French and is learning ASL and Italian. During the summer she loves volunteering at a camp for individuals with disabilities on Martha’s Vineyard.
