Project: "Channel Yellow" Film
"Channel Yellow" by Myles Aquino
Project Description
The short film CHANNEL YELLOW is a fictionalized Adult-Swim media program that notes the issues faced by Asian Americans throughout American media. From satirical PSA's to commercials promoting the distillation of Asian-American identity, the film aims to bring to light the integrated nature of Asian-American stereotypes perpetuated by American television, social media, and films as well as passive discrimination behind-the-scenes.
