Trinity Bryant
CMCI Embedded Therapist
Wellness

Trinity Bryant, PsyD (she/her/hers) joins the College of Media, Communication and Information as an embedded therapist for Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). She recently completed her postdoctoral fellowship at CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ which is the third university system that she has worked in. Trinity enjoys providing individual and group therapy, supervising trainees and connecting with other university departments outside CAPS. Her integrative approach to therapy is informed by person-centered and feminist theories, which emphasize empowerment, self-exploration and understanding, and the role that identity, personal history and systemic contexts play in a person’s unique experiences.

As an embedded therapist, Trinity will be available to meet with CMCI students for therapy appointments and for drop-in CMCI Let’s Talk sessions. (For fall 2022: Tuesdays between noon and 1 p.m. in the CMCI Advising Center, Folsom Field). Trinity will also collaborate with staff and faculty to help support mental health awareness in the CMCI community.
