Dean's Letter
- You may notice—as we did while this issue was taking shape—how many of the stories center on images and representations. As you enjoy this copy of CMCI Now, I wonder if these stories might change your image of us.
- When I met alumnus Carl Cannon (Jour’75) for lunch in Washington, D.C., last fall, he was still nostalgic for the J-school. I shared my vision for the college and we talked about current faculty research and student projects.
- Our professors, students and alumni end up not only following the news, but also featured in stories about their research and work.
- Grad students reporting in the Yukon, alumni at the Olympic Games and honoring CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ's first black female graduate--all of that and more in the Spring 2018 edition of CMCI Now.
- This marks the first issue of our magazine CMCI Now, and I’m excited to share news from our students, faculty and centers. CMCI Now will be delivered four times a year electronically, with a fall print edition delivered by mail as well.
