Crown Institute graduates honored at virtual ceremony
On May 15, 2020, the Crown Institute honored Yoni Ashar and Rachel Vanderkruik who completed the requirements for a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and Julia Kaufman, Kourtney Kelley, Juliana Sapp, and Leanna Valles, who completed the requirements for the bachelor’s degree and received Latin honors for their undergraduate research projects.
During the virtual ceremony, the graduates presented their research and the audience had an opportunity to participate in a virtual “hooding” of the graduate students. We also had the special opportunity to celebrate the establishment of the Barry and Sue Baer Endowed Scholarship for Undergraduate Research and to honor our four undergraduate students who are the inaugural recipients.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Advisory Board Chair Dr. Patricia Crown.
