Maria G. Vielma (she/her/ella) is a doctoral student in the Educational Foundations, Policy, and Practice program at CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s School of Education. Her research largely centers the lived experiences of Latinas and Women of Color students, staff, and faculty within higher education in relation to how they navigate the institution through the embodiment of intersectional femtorship practices. As a Graduate Research Assistant for CU Dialogues, Maria supports the curriculum development, implementation, and assessment aspects of the Staff-to-Staff program.
