Long-time CWA Speaker and Friend, Michael Elliott has Passed Away
We are deeply saddened by the news of Michael Elliott's passing. Elliott was a long-time friend of the CWA who attended as a speaker for many years; we're grateful to have learned from him. Michael Elliott, who had the rare distinction of working as an editor for all three prominent newsmagazines, TIME, Newsweek and the Economist, died on July 14. He was 65 and had been battling cancer.Â
