By invitation of the CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵÌýAthletic Department, Professor Dan Liston was featured during the recentÌýColorado Buffaloes football game against Oregon State as the "Faculty Coach of the Game." Faculty members are nominated to be FacultyÌýCoach of the Game byÌýstudent-athletes, the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Faculty Assembly, the Chancellor's Office, or the Herbst Academic Staff in recognition for a distinguishedÌýcommitment to excellence in their field.

As Faculty Coach of the game, Professor Liston, together with his wife Michele Seipp and Associate Dean forÌýTeacher Education Jennie Whitcomb,Ìýjoined the the captains of the team on the center of the field for the coin toss, while the video posted below featured Professor Liston's teaching and research accomplishments. In addition, Professor Liston joined theÌýacademic support staff for a tour of the Dal Ward Athletic Center and halftimeÌýlunchÌýwith former CU letter awarded athletes.
