Isabel Ramos

Isabel is a sophomore majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Leadership Studies. She joined the School of Education Student Government to advocate for and give a voice to fellow students' in the education community. She is working towards teaching in elementary schools after she graduates with the goal of helping provide children with the resources and tools they need to succeed as individuals and students. She works at the CU Museum of Natural History on campus where she assists in a program called GAMES, short for Girls at the Museum Exploring Science, where she encourages underfunded schools in a novel program created to spark girls in fourth and fifth grade girls' interest and passion in science. Isabel is eager to gain practical experience in schools as she begins her practicum this fall. Outside of school and student government, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, knitting, baking, and listening to Taylor Swift. Isabel is very eager for this year and to continue helping make a difference in the education community.
