Inspired by TED Talks, these short talks explored political courage during this time when so many aspects of public education and even one’s own identity, humanity, and dignity are under fire.     Who are your most inspiring educators at CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ? The Best Should Teach Awards honor faculty, graduate teachers, and K-12 teachers at the annual CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Best Should Teach Ceremony. Student nominations are a key consideration of the selection process, and 2022 nominations are due Friday, April 29.

Inspired by TED Talks, these short talks will explore the theme of political courage, including book censorship, gender and sexual diversity in schools, institutional violence, and the personal and powerful battles for inclusive higher education and STEM opportunities.

Meyer for the AERA Award for Distinguished Contributions to Gender Equity in Education Research, which recognizes individuals within AERA for distinguished research, professional practice, and activities that advance public understanding of gender and/or sexuality at any level in the education community.
