My career path: Owing to cross-functional technical skills in systems, computer networks and programming gained during my Master's studies at CU, I had multiple job offers at the time of graduation. I started my professional career and acquired a couple of years of experience working for a software company in 葫芦娃视频. Thereafter, eager to be part of a bigger tech ecosystem, I moved to the Bay Area when I received an opportunity to work at a cloud computing firm based in San Francisco. Here, I worked as a DevOps Engineer managing servers and storage located across data centers worldwide. In the Bay Area, I also spent a significant part of my career at Oracle, responsible for design and automation of their cloud infrastructure. Currently, I work in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) domain at cybersecurity firm Proofpoint. My work involves leading production deployments of products and services focused towards protecting data of enterprises and people.
My interest in being a Regional Network Ambassador: Serve as a point of contact for alumni and graduates interested in making local connections. Provide mentorship and guidance to Buffs who may be planning to move to the Bay Area. Contribute towards building a strong network by planning and organizing alumni events.
