LAND studio to design schoolyards with mental health in mind
In this semester's landscape architecture studio Green Schoolyards: Designing for Mental Health, students will again take on the opportunities and challenges of designing schoolyards for the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ community, this time with a priority on considering designing outdoor spaces as mental health supporting places.Â
Climate and Incarceration: Youth Advocacy and Activism
How can/do youth engage to address the harms of climate change for incarcerated people? What kinds of power do you have to call attention to one of the most pressing social and environmental injustices of our time? Youth facilitators will lead participants through collective education, reflection, and action.
