Steven is the Design Director and Computational Design Lead for Burdekin English in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, Colorado. Steven's is focused on design in confluence with technology creating Places that Matter. Steven graduated from CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ's ENVD program before completing his Master of Architecture & Architectural Engineering at Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea.

He has since worked in Beijing with MAD Architects, serving as a mainstay designer on the Gardenhouse in Beverly Hills and the Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts in Los Angeles, before coming back home to Colorado where he worked for Stantec's Visioning Brands and Experiences office leading design on large-scale projects like McGregor Square in Denver and Ridgeway in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. With his deep experience in computational design, Steven also helped lead Stantec's design automation practice and implementation discipline, providing leadership as well as developing digital tools for use in design practice.

Steven's current work is focused on creating social gathering places in adaptive reuse retail and large-scale mixed-use infill projects. His work with Burdekin English is multi-disciplinary including architecture, planning, interiors, branding, and environmental graphic design. Outside of work, Steven is a proud father of two daughters and a weekend warrior who has shredded the gnar for over 25 years.
