ENVS alum, Ashley Dancer, wins best paper award
Ashley Dancer graduated from ENVS in 2018 with a dual MS-MBA, having worked with Dr. Peter Newton. Her master's thesis explored the challenges of developing local food systems in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ County, supported by an Outreach and Engagement Grant with Dr. Veronica House (Program for Writing and Rhetoric). Ashley's research was published in the peer-reviewed journal Food Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal. The journal recently awarded Ashley the Food Studies International Award for Excellence, which is an annual award for newly published research or thinking that has been recognized to be outstanding by members of the Food Studies Research Network.
