Health and Wellness Embedded Program
The embedded program was created to integrate Health and Wellness Services into academic settings to increase education, access, awareness and support within each of CU’s colleges and schools.
Each college and school has a dedicated Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) clinician, as well as a Health Promotion educator and Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) advocate counselor liaison. Each department plays a critical role in enhancing the health and wellness of students across campus.

Trauma-specific Services
The Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) supports students, staff and faculty who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event. Their staff can also support secondary victims, including those who have been impacted by a friend of family member’s experience.
