Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)

SACNAS is committed to encouraging students from historically excluded groups to pursue leadership roles in science research and academia. The organization welcomes all young researchers, regardless of their ethnic or racial background, to present at their annual conference. Details regarding registration will be announced as they become available.

Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS)

For 20 years, the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS), recipient of the AIMBE Excellence in STEM Education Award, has served as a pivotal conference for community college, undergraduate, and postbaccalaureate students from historically excluded communities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. As ABRCMS has expanded and adapted, it has also become a vital forum for graduate students, postdocs, faculty, program administrators, and others engaged in these fields.
