  • Assistant Director for Student Organizations & Leadership

I’ve been at CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ since June 2017 where I worked at the University Memorial Center (UMC) for my first couple of years before transitioning to the Center for Student Involvement (CSI). I currently serve as the Assistant Director for Student Organizations and Leadership where my primary responsibilities center on the oversight of Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), Recognized Social Greek Organizations (RSGOs), as well as working with several student boards. The strengths I bring to CSI would be a high-interest in the development of students outside of the classroom through involvement, a positive and energetic outlook on my work, and a passion to center the student experience in my work and our office’s work. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Technology Entrepreneurship & Management as well as a 2nd BSE in Technical Communication from Arizona State University, I also have my Masters of Arts (MA) in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado.

I am a native Pacific Islander from Guam who grew up between Guam and Colorado most my life. I have 3 pets that are my fur babies, an orange tabby named Leo, a black cat named Vader, and a border collie-husky named Ash. When I’m not at work I enjoy playing a variety of video games, reading books / comics / graphic novels, watching any type of reality TV series or anime, as well as experimenting with cooking Chamorro food. My favorite place on-campus would likely be Farrand Field as it’s a great spot to see students hang out and also enjoy our office’s Be Involved Fair where thousands of students are able connect with our several hundred student groups. Lastly, if I were a superhero I’d probably say my superpower would be from one of my current favorite anime, One Piece, the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika devil fruit.
