Becca isÌýa first year graduate student in ATOC working with Jan LenaertsÌýand Andrew Winters. She received a BA in mathematics from Pomona College and a Masters of Education from Vanderbilt University. Her current research isÌýusing self organizing maps to classify meteorological patterns that bring Atmospheric Rivers to East Antarctica. She is alsoÌýinterested in past and futureÌýimpacts of Atmospheric Rivers in Antarctica.
