Exit to Community Poster Available Now

Exit to Community one-page zine unfolded

After months of travel, events, webinars, and more, we're proud to announce the first print publication related to our Exit to Community project: a printable poster and booklet called Exit to Community: A Community Primer. We've worked hard to produce a concise, information-dense artifact which briefly outlines the E2C idea in a double-sided, foldable 11x17 poster. If you're interested in learning more about or helping to spread E2C, .

Printing Instructions

Ideally, you’ll want to print the document on an 11x17 tabloid sheet of paper, but printing on a letter or A4 sheet of paper will also work. After downloading the file, you’ll need to change some settings in your print dialogue. If your printer supports double-sided printing, configure your print settings to flip on the long edge. After checking the margin—depending on paper size, they might need to be adjusted by scaling the document—you’re ready to print. If your printer doesn’t print two-sided, you’ll need to print on one side, flip the sheet over, and feed it back again to print on the other side. Make sure to understand how your paper is fed into your printer, otherwise you might print both sides of the document on one.

Folding instructions

Once you’ve printed the poster, follow these instructions. Start by folding the sheet in half crosswise, with the centerfold (the side with the larger print) on the inside.

Once you’ve folded your poster in half, fold lengthwise, keeping the “Exit to Community” and “MEDLab” logos facing outward.

Next, fold between E2C and MEDLab. You're done!

Thanks to for the drawings. I designed the layout with help from Cassandra Dana here at MEDLab.

This is the start of a series of things that we will publish in the coming months. If you’d like to contribute to the Exit to Community project or help co-create future publications, please get in touch.
