Hours: 30 hours throughout the semester or 1 credits at 48hours

Handmade by Friendship Bridge: Handmade by Friendship Bridge® empowers Guatemalan artisans by creating a global marketplace for their products while supporting sustainable development.

Our mission is to preserve cultural heritage through fair trade practices, highlighting the artistry of handmade products and the stories behind them.

Internship Overview: We are seeking a creative and driven undergraduate student to join our team as a Content Creator Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to develop and implement social media strategies while showcasing the beauty of handmade products and supporting our mission.

The intern will focus primarily on TikTok content, while also producing visuals for Instagram Reels and Stories.

Key Responsibilities:

● Social Media Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, and Stories showcasing handmade products and artisan stories.

● Visual Storytelling: Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos to highlight the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of the products.

● Mission-Focused Content: Create materials that align with the organization's mission, incorporating storytelling about artisans, their communities, and the impact of fair trade.

● Trend Research: Stay updated on social media trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram, and propose creative ideas to enhance engagement.

● Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with the overall social media strategy. ● Analytics Support: Assist in tracking and analyzing content performance to inform future strategies.

Qualifications: ● Current undergraduate student with a passion for content creation and social media marketing.

● Strong interest in fair trade, cultural preservation, and handmade crafts.

● Proficiency in creating and editing videos (experience with apps like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Canva is a plus).

● Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics.

● Knowledge of social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram.

● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
