Location: ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ / Longmont, CO (with some remote flexibility) Position Type: Internship (Part-Time, Flexible Hours) Duration: January 2025 – March 2025

Ìý Us: The Latino Chamber of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ County is dedicated to fostering economic development, cultural engagement, and leadership within the Latinx and broader community. We are committed to empowering underrepresented voices and creating opportunities for growth and connection. As we prepare for the Empowered Women Conference, scheduled for March 27th, 2025.

We seek a motivated and resourceful intern to assist in planning and executing this impactful event. Position Summary: The CU Intern will play an integral role in supporting the planning and execution of the Empowered Women Conference. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, community engagement, and nonprofit operations while contributing to an event designed to uplift and connect women leaders.Ìý

Key Responsibilities:Ìý

  • Community Outreach: Help identify and establish connections with community leaders, organizations, and businesses to promote participation and sponsorship opportunities.Ìý
  • Event Logistics: Assist in coordinating venue arrangements, managing vendor communications, and supporting event setup and breakdown.Ìý
  • Marketing Support: Contribute to the development and distribution of promotional materials, including flyers, email campaigns, and social media posts.Ìý
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support, such as managing registration lists, tracking RSVPs, and organizing planning documents.Ìý
  • Collaboration: Work closely with chamber staff and volunteers to ensure all aspects of the event are on track and aligned with our mission.Ìý
  • Day-of Assistance: Be present on March 27th to help with event execution, including attendee check-in, guiding guests, and troubleshooting as needed.Ìý

Qualifications:Ìý

  • Current CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ student .Ìý
  • ÌýPassion for community engagement, event planning, and empowering women.
  • ÌýStrong organizational and multitasking skills.Ìý
  • ÌýExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ìý
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and Social Media Platforms.Ìý
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Ìý
  • Availability to work part-time hours leading up to the event and full availability on March 27th. Benefits:Ìý
