How to prep for move-in 

Move-in schedules and instructions

Move-in on campus is an exciting time of year. It is filled with excitement, happy tears and heavy lifting. Before you arrive get familiar with our move-in process.

  • Spring 2025
    • New student move-in: after 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025
    • Fall residents may return after 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025
  • Fall 2025
    • Students are discouraged from making travel arrangements until after they have selected their move-in appointment in July 2025.
    • Dates:
      • Friday, Aug. 15: Pre-arrival Program participants only (by application)
      • Saturday, Aug. 16: International students
      • Sunday, Aug. 17 – Tuesday, Aug. 19: First year and returning student move-in  
Move-out and break information

Please keep in mind the following information about breaks and move-out. 

  • Residence halls remain open for fall and spring breaks.
  • All residence halls close at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024 for winter break. Reed Hall, Bear Creek and Weber Hall, remain open through winter break.
