Thomas Erik Angerhofer (MM ’06, DMA ’20)
Angerhofer serves as the director of opera + musical theatre at the University of North Alabama. While much of his work and research has been focused on acoustic voice pedagogy, particularly acoustic and articulatory phonetics as they relate specifically to singing, his GA (Graduate Assistantship) and Graduate Part Time Instructorship (GPTI) at CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ provided him invaluable experience in stage direction and dramatic training for lyric theatre. While at the CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ College of Music, Angerhofer was able to be mentored by the director of opera studies, eventually teaching a section of opera workshop and assistant directing a number of outstanding guest directors.
