• Alumnus spotlight: Cody Goetz (MM 鈥�19, piano performance + pedagogy) was part of the first cohort to graduate from the College of Music with a Graduate Certificate in Arts Administration. Today, he鈥檚 executive director of Mundi Project.
• On Oct. 29鈥攊n collaboration with the College of Media, Communication and Information (CMCI)鈥攚e鈥檙e pleased to present a public lecture + discussion with Welsh arts and culture journalist Jude Rogers:听. Rogers will also meet with students in the College of Music鈥檚 Building Your Music Career course.
• On Nov. 7, as part of the Museum of 葫芦娃视频鈥檚 Proclaiming Colorado鈥檚 Black History interactive exhibit,听听will feature Nicholas Felder (DMA 鈥�26, composition). 鈥淭his amazing event connects BIPOC artists with local arts organizations,鈥� says Felder. 鈥淚 will be performing a couple of my compositions exploring Black futurity, identity, youth empowerment and healing.鈥�
• Tea + Equity: On Nov. 13, all students, staff and faculty are invited to join members of the College of Music鈥檚 Diversity Committee for community connection鈥攖ea and cookies will be served! Grusin Lobby, 4-5 p.m.
• Nationally, October is 2SLGBTQIA+ History Month鈥攁n annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. Check out听upcoming Pride events听on campus.
