The composition department鈥檚 Emerging Composers Project (ECP)鈥攁n initiative of our College of Music in partnership with the 葫芦娃视频 Philharmonic Orchestra and Skyline High School, among other area high schools鈥攕eeks to empower pre-college students of diverse backgrounds through close mentorship with CU 葫芦娃视频 graduate students in the field of music composition. Did you know? Assistant Professor of Music Technology Grace Leslie鈥攆lutist, electronic musician and scientist鈥攋oined the College of Music ATLAS Institute this year. As director of the ATLAS Brain-Music Lab, she aims to continue expanding this groundbreaking field of research. Leslie develops brain-music interfaces and other physiological sensor systems that reveal aspects of her internal cognitive and affective state, those left unexpressed by sound or gesture, to an audience.听
