Fifth Distinguished Lectureship in Music, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion + Justice: Continuing its annual lectureship series, the College of Music is thrilled to welcome , a prestigious composer and pianist with a multicultural heritage: Peruvian/Chinese descent on her mother’s side and Lithuanian/Jewish descent on her father’s side. In 2017, The Washington Post included Frank in a shortlist of the most significant composers in history. She’s also been nominated for Grammys as both a composer and a pianist.
