Congratulations to our Assistant Professor of Violin Alex Gonzalez and the Sphinx Virtuosi, who made their international debut at Sala S茫o Paulo in Brazil on Monday, Oct. 24, after performing at Carnegie Hall earlier this month. Gonzalez serves as the concertmaster of the chamber orchestra and represents what it means to be a universal musician鈥攁 multi-skilled, multifaceted professional prepared to innovate, influence and impact a diversity of disciplines, within and beyond music. 鈥淚t鈥檚 always a joy to perform with my fantastic colleagues from Sphinx. What I鈥檓 most proud of this season is premiering four new works by living Black and Latinx composers across the country and abroad,鈥� shares Gonzalez.

• A new Basic Needs Center has been established within the Division of Student Affairs to address food insecurity, housing and more.
• : CU 葫芦娃视频鈥檚 Volunteer Resource Center and Basic Needs Center partners with Community Food Share each semester to host several Mobile Food Pantries to support the needs of our community. All are welcome, including students, staff, faculty and community members.
