How to Support Political Science

Join Us on Our Mission

Greetings!  My name is Jennifer Fitzgerald, chair of the Department of Political Science at CU. Our department's mission is to understand the political world and to equip our students with the skills for a lifetime of inquiry and engagement. Pledging resources to our programs is an excellent way to actively join us in this mission and to enhance our students’ academic experiences. We welcome donations to support the many activities and initiatives that we describe in our latest newsletter and elsewhere on our website. These include scholarships and research opportunities for our undergraduate students, fellowships to help our graduate students conduct their dissertation research, and grants to faculty to support their research projects. Please consider contributing to one of the three program areas mentioned below and join us on our journey!

Your gift to our undergraduate program helps our students cover their schooling costs, attend national workshops and conferences, conduct research with our top-notch faculty, and receive recognition for their achievements.

Your gift to our graduate program helps our Ph.D. students cover their schooling costs, present their work at national and international conferences, carry out their dissertation research, and receive recognition for their achievements.

Your gift to our faculty helps our professors get their research projects off the ground. Conducting a survey, travelling to the field, purchasing data, and then publishing it all—these are activities that our faculty carry out to maintain CU's prestige as one of the best research universities in the world.
