Sun Glow is a photo and video journal of the portion of Interstate 80 through the state of Wyoming. It is a series of photographs overlaid on dash cam footage on this stretch of highway.

Ryan Kalin
Ryan Kalin is an artist, photographer, and videographer who works in classical and nonclassical 2d and 3d spaces. He is interested in emerging technologies in the media and arts space and would like to explore their interaction with the fine arts. Ryan is an undergraduate student at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. He anticipates graduating with a degree in Media Production and a minor in Art Practices. While there, he worked as a lab technician in the Immersive Media Lab.Ìý

It is a photo and video journal of the portion of Interstate 80 through the state of Wyoming. It is a series of photographs overlaid on dash cam footage on this stretch of highway. Through several trips From the Nebraska border to the Utah border through Wyoming I collected a series of images and videos that make up this project. Since I first saw this landscape, I have been intrigued by its vast nothingness, beauty, and how it glows and breathes with life and energy. This project hopes to capture some of that while also touching on the mundanity of long-distance driving.Ìý
