Woven Rage is an immersive installation that combines the delicate texture of lace with the raw, rebellious energy of riot grrrl culture. Using projection mapping, aggressive and femine visuals that are cast across the fragile fabric, creating a dynamic contrast between the traditional femininity of lace and the power of protest. As viewers interact with the piece, the projections shift, amplifying the tension between fragility and power. The sound design, a blend of distorted punk riffs, protest chants, and abrasive noise, further intensifies the installation’s atmosphere, immersing viewers in a sensory experience.
