Joshua works in the 21-cm Cosmology group studying "Dark Cosmology" or dark matter in the Dark Ages of the universe through measurements of the highly red-shifted 21-cm signal of neutral hydrogen. He's assisting in the development of a data-analysis pipeline for the DAPPER mission. In order to extract the signal, the galactic foreground must be accounted for and subtracted. Joshua's research involves theoretically analyzing and modeling this foreground.
