Elias Sacks (he/him) is Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Jewish Studies at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, where he studies Jewish thought, philosophy of religion, Jewish-Christian relations, religious ethics, and religion and politics.ÌýHe is the author ofÌýÌý(Indiana University Press, 2017), as well as articles on medieval and modern thinkers including Mendelssohn, Moses Maimonides, Baruch Spinoza, Nachman Krochmal, Hermann Cohen, Franz Rosenzweig, and Jacob Taubes. HeÌýserves asÌýthe Modern Judaism editor for theÌýÌý(De Gruyter), and is also involved in a second grant-funded project onÌý. ÌýHe holds leadership positions in the Association for Jewish Studies and Society of Jewish Ethics, and previously served as Director of The Jewish Publication Society.
