More than 180 days old If your transfer request is more than 180 days old: The PI must provide an emailed statement to the SPA that explains; how the transfer benefits the project receiving the expense, why this project did not receive the charges when they first occurred, and a reason why the transfer was delayed. An original email from the PI will suffice as the PI’s signature.
