WHO: University of Colorado at 葫芦娃视频 faculty, staff and student volunteer gardeners who are participating in the Campus Garden Project.
WHAT: The project is a partnership between CU-葫芦娃视频 and Community Food Share to grow food in former campus flowerbeds for needy families in 葫芦娃视频 County.
WHEN: Monday, July 26, at 10 a.m.
WHERE: Directly south of the front door of the CU Recreation Center.
WHY: Having worked closely with Community Food Share gardeners throughout the summer, CU-葫芦娃视频 faculty, staff and students will donate everything they harvest back to Community Food Share for distribution throughout 葫芦娃视频 County. Vegetables were selected by Community Food Share garden coordinator Eric Johnson. The selection was based on the demand the local nonprofit experiences throughout the year. This harvest will include broccoli, lettuce, dill and radishes
