CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ professor to speak at

Cortez Cultural Center on Nov.18

WHO: Linda Cordell, director of CU's Henderson Museum, will speak in Cortez on Nov. 18th. Professor Cordell has been at CU since 1994 and is a faculty member in the anthropology department.

WHAT: Cordell will speak on "The Chaco Corn Experiment, Part I." Chaco Canyon is not the bread basket of the West today, and may not have been for Puebloans in the past. Professor Cordell will describe new research results from a long-term project that should help researchers understand where the corn found at Chaco was grown.

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 18, at 7:30pm.

WHY: CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ faculty members travel to different communities all over Colorado to share their research. The university is committed to providing outreach for communities throughout the state.
