FLEX bus service connecting CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ and Fort Collins is up and running. If you’ve been waiting for inexpensive, direct, easy transit service along the north Front Range, FLEX will take you where you need to go. Two special events will take place Jan. 21 in both Fort Collins and ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ to celebrate the start of service and the growing connections between Fort Collins and ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.

Festivities kick off in Fort Collins from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Attendees will then ride the FLEX to CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ to participate in the events on the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus where light refreshments will be served.

The CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ welcome ceremony will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the University Memorial Center Plaza (south side).

Transfort, the City of Fort Collins’ transit department, will be operating the FLEX year-round, Monday through Friday. The new FLEX route is made possible by a grant from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) received by ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ County, and partnerships with the City of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, City of Longmont and City of Loveland.Ìý
