The new director of the Ìýis Paulette Erickson-England, a licensed clinical social worker and FSAP counselor.ÌýAs a unit of the , FSAP is dedicated to serving the emotional and psychological needs of the campus community.
Erickson-England has been with FSAP since 2011. In that time, she has held staff counselor and senior staff counselor positions. Prior to joining FSAP, her professional counseling and social work experience included 10 years of county social work in child welfare, supervision, client counseling and advocacy and six years in private practice providing counseling to individuals, families and couples.Ìý
The new director holds a MasterÌýof Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Additional training and certifications include Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), National Behavioral Intervention Team Associations (NaBITa) Threat Assessment CertificationÌýand graduate-level training in depth psychology.
Erickson-England leads a team of counselors and counseling interns who provide counseling, referral services, support groups and work-life presentations to CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ employees. She succeeds Olga Vera who left the university after serving as FSAP director for eightÌýyears.Ìý
