While the commencement ceremony this year will be livestreamed, there will be a fewÌýin-person opportunitiesÌýbeginning April 20. Faculty and staff will have opportunities to volunteer to support commencement activities this year for the class of 2021.

From April 20 toÌý22, CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵÌýwill host Gear Grab at the UMC for students to pick up cords, stoles, decorate caps, sign the alumni banner and more. On April 22 andÌý23, and on April 26 andÌý27, students have the opportunity to cross the stage in Folsom Field, get professional photos, visit with their school or college, and receive a special class of 2021 alumni gift. A good turnout is expected for both these events, and attendees and volunteers shouldÌýknow thatÌýorganizers areÌýworking closely with CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ'sÌýPandemic Response Office to ensure all safety measures are observed for all in-person events.

If you have been missing commencement, this is your chance to get involved! The campusÌýwill need a lot of volunteer support for multiple days of commencement activities, and CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ isÌývery excited to have this chance to celebrate our graduates.Ìý,Ìýand thank you for your long term support of commencement.
