For a number of years, CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s spring break dates have matched with the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Valley School District’s spring break dates and often those ofÌýthe St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD). This is helpful to many CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ employees and CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ parents and families who have students enrolled in one of the two nearby K-12 school districts.Ìý
BVSD and CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ identified a discrepancy for the 2022–23 academic year.Ìý
Following the BVSD Board of Education’s unanimous vote on June 7, BVSD moved spring break to March 27–31, 2023, which matches CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s break.
SVVSD has currently not made any changes to its planned March 20–24, 2023, spring break.Ìý
CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ reached out to both school districts to set the stage for future cooperation on calendar setting that benefits all three institutions going forward.
